Happy Thanksgiving from Us!
Whether you’re kicking back with family today, hanging out with friends, or enjoying some “me time,” I hope you find a moment to appreciate all the good in your life. To be honest—I often struggle with gratitude. I get so caught up in what’s next that I forget to celebrate my little wins. Sometimes, it helps just to acknowledge the people who stick with you during the tough times.
I really love that we have a couple of days each year to focus on giving thanks. Right now, as I sip on some fresh chai and write this email, I can’t help but feel grateful for the chance to serve you with my spicy shortbread. I know that sounds cheesy, but it really makes me happy to know my cookies might have brought a bit of joy into your life. I consider it a privilege to be able to share something I put so much love into, with you. Okay, maybe I’m getting a little too deep—let’s lighten it up!
On the reals, I’m thankful for being able to launch Talkback Snacks with my son at the Woodinville Farmer's Market this year. After applying to a bunch of weekend markets in the Greater Seattle area, Katherine at Woodinville was the only one who took a shot on my spicy shortbread idea. If she hadn’t been willing to give me a chance, I honestly don’t think this business would be where it is today. How wild is that, right?!
So, on this Thanksgiving day, I want to give a big thanks to everyone who supported our spicy shortbread business. Most of all, I’m thankful for you—especially since you took the time to read this whole email. Sincerely, your support means the world to me!
Stay spicy, my friend!

PS - We're making an apple pie using our Cumin & Green Chili shortbread for the crust. This could be amazing, or terrible. 😂
